JTry toggling hardware acceleration on or off in steams settings and see if that changes anything. I think it can be either encoding or decoding that can be to blame

GI'm trying to see whether I can layer in a plymouth theme - this github suggests this'll work on a fedora atomic - but when I get to 'build the rpm', it doesn't look like Bazzite has the 'rpmbuild' command? Is that right? Would I need to layer that in first?

KNow to slowly layer back on my customizations rebooting 20 times in the process to ensure each individual change is unproblematic.
