Tincredibly easy to run opengl linux ports will work, windows only games need to use wined3d translation which requires a launch option and will perform poorly in comparison to vulkan. light emulation will work

sounds like your CPU governor is likely misconfigured and stuck on performance or somethingAhardware? is it a steam deck?

Aone thing you could try out is SimpleDeckyTDP and change your governor + EPP to powersave
ASDTDP wasn't meant for the Deck, but it should work if you disable the TDP and GPU controls in the plugin
