yeah the way I see it is if I want an app I can accses from the terminal it is best to use brew/pip/cargo/binary in .localbin/ in that order and then a gui app in distrobox trhough a fedora container thats what i been doing but don't know if thats the best way
I’m having a problem with discord if anyone has any advice. It’s stuck in 16:10 even tho the resolution is set to 1440p manually in Steam properties. I can’t access the bottom of the screen or it wouldn’t really be an issue..
Just tried it and no luck :/ I’ve tried almost every resolution setting and none change the aspect ratio. I’ve used discord this way for awhile and never had it get stuck before
my first headache was that a couple of distros ago I finally caved and made a /home partition but it was a huge pain getting everything back over, espcially when I didn't remove the fstab entry for the partition after deleting it.

Keep getting emergency mode boots first few boots of my system and after the 1st or 2nd reboot it boots fine. i seriously need to get to the bottom of this issue. Where should I look?
I just tested NVK on a regular Fedora install earlier on my other system (I popped back in my GeForce RTX 3080). So far for PlayStation 2 emulation in Vulkan it is mostly solid in 4K
