II'm trying to workaround frequent disconnects in The First Descendant, and protondb has a report of using glibc-eac to resolve them. The instructions there are for arch, and I don't quite understand the concept yet. (https://www.protondb.com/app/2074920#jMU9S7i-GS)
I also saw suggestions of preloading the patched version in another situation (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2163972#p2163972) but attempting to do this with LD_PRELOAD in the launch properties with the closest matching version (https://github.com/Frogging-Family/glibc-eac/releases/tag/release_1) leads to segfaults.
Clearly I don't understand exactly what I'm trying to do, anyone have any insights they'd be willing to share?

Athe bios update instructions were actually originally from chimeraOS, but some LGO users have used it with bazzite without any trouble

_of course, even after I get it open from the terminal, my winetricks version is from december of last year, and updating the system isn't updating winetricks, so I can't install the Visual C++ runtime I need for a game

Ci used your simple tdp ujust cmd but there isnt a plugin in decky for it
