DI'm not sure what's going on tbh. KDE keeps crashing at random points. This began after 555 so I thought that's the issue.
DThen again, it crashes sometimes even when asusctl shows the dGPU is off. Hmm
TSD card issue seems to have returned and this time its btrfs (did also a fresh install) :monkaThink: seems like I need to manually mount it in desktop mode...
CMight be a dumb question but does anyone know how to stop the vulkan shaders from wanting to load before every game?

MI know nvidia isn’t optimal with bazzite but it’s odd because it was just working
MAnd the install was FRESH
MI got Firefox, discord, steam etc. setup but I hardly messed with anything

Dare you on the desktop bazzite? can you try accessing grub and booting into an older image?
Dthe key for that is escape, you gotta press it at boot time if you have grub hidden

JThe first option of bazzite on grub (it have the number 0) is your current deployment of bazzite,the below of that whit the number 1 is your previous one,try booting the previous (1)
Dthis is more of a feature of bazzite, bazzite deploys a version to you as an all-in-one "image", every time you upgrade, you get a new image, what im asking you to do is go into the boot loader called grub and select an older image, essentially reverting back, to see if that fixes your issue
Dthere may be a doc online somewhere that can help you do this if you're not sure

KI... why? I'd expect it's not, it's probably a very YMMV thing just because odds are none of the devs have put time into what is likely a VERY niche use case.
CI don't believe they touch the dual boot stuff from base Fedora, I'd be a bit more worried about SteamOS messing with it
Zbecause I'm not sure how often bazzite gets new steamos features and I'd like to have the chance to try them out + I wanna try bazzite as a daily without throwing my steamos install in the bin. doesn't sound like a weird use case lol

KIt's a "weird use case" just cause you're probably one of the few people looking into it.
Knot weird as is in strange, weird as in super rare.
KBut yeah Bazzite is basically fedora silverblue as far as that goes, so it should dualboot if set up right. No clue about how SteamOS handles that stuff though.
CSteamOS usually lags behind in updates as compared to Bazzite, at least in as much as system packages are concerned

KWell, SteamOS is always going to get first-party SteamOS specific (game mode) features first cause Valve makes SteamOS.
