HI think winwing and moza have some haptic engine in their throttles, but I‘m certainly not the target group for that. Can’t see much use in it.
BIf I wanted haptics I'd jury rig up one my GF's old dildos, or put a buttkicker under it.

TUsually it comes a couple days after, since I assume Walmis sends them manually.
WLead times might be a bit all over the place since FSExpo about four weeks ago, it jumped about 180 since then, and 68 since yesterday. Since I started checking regularly on the second week of June it’s jumped 264.

RI'm coming from a Virpil T50CM2 base. I needed a curve of 20 to fly the Apache. I know curves mess up trimming with the Rhino, so can you apply one to the VPForce software?
TNever flown a helicopter but I am curious. When you pitch forward and return the stick to center does the helicopter keep its pitch point or does it return to neutral? Do you have to apply rearward pitch to level the helicopter?
HFFB for Helos is great. But in an unspectacular way. It is more what is taken away than what is added. It's really odd. All the big aerodynamic and g-forces in jets and warbirds are really impressive - still helos are the biggest winners of FFB for me.
HOnce above ETL, the cyclic and pedals work exactly like in a fixed wing aircraft. (Not literally but in effect)
HExample - The faster you go, the more you need to apply forward stick (or trim forward) to not climb.
TOk, that makes sense. On the collective usage. Is collective generally left alone above ETL or is it in constant adjustment?
HWhen you want to go faster, you need more collective (or loose altitude) and pitch forward.

HLook at youtube videos from vsTerminus. He made some very good tutorials on the Mi-8 (best helicopter simulation to date imho).
HOther than that - there are plenty of youtube channels lecturing on the aerodynamics of helicopters (real ones)
1Try to look at collective as vertical velocity and cyclic as forward speed, you’re always exchanging alt for speed. I hope this makes sense

HDon't want to be a smartass - but that is kind of misleading. Especially above ETL it is basically the other way round.
HA better way of thinking about it is, collective gives you power (or asks power from the engine) and cyclic shifts the power between climb and speed.
1Ok get in a helo set the collective at 60% and push the stick forward and let me know what happens…. Alternatively do the opposite…

TMight give the Blackhawk mod a go on DCS. Or do a trial of the Mi-8. I have been trying to learn to fly helicopter in Squad but the flight model is probably way off a real sim. Mostly was trying in Squad because I own it already and to see if I like flying helicopters. Don’t know if it’s just a bad flight model or I am bad pilot but probably it is both.
