ROK. Finally got my base powered up. I'm trying to use a Realsimulator F-18 stick on the base. I have selected the Realsimulator (64 button, Realsimulator) setting for grip type. It says it registers 48 buttons in the button tab, but it's actually only reading the 32 initial buttons under the Windows USB Controller page. Some of center depress functions of the 5-way switches are not registering. Does anyone know how the button mapping function of the VPForce Configurator program works?

Mmy raw center value is 14885. if i twist it to the left, immediately counts up, all the eway up to 65535, and then continues past it starting at 0 again, continuing to count up

Myes, the z axis on the bottom left of the screen only goes from 0 to -4096
Mi can't seem to ever see a positive value out of it
Pisnt it strange that you cannot set negative value while your z axis already shows negative value 
Malso, buttons 10 and 17 are constantly being depressed

Mbut, when i turn the twist axis to the right, the button 17 turns off

Mi do not have an original base. the rhino is the only base i have. the rhino was bought full , brand new, fully assembled from vp force.

Mi have a 200mm extension on the rhino base. i will now remove the extension and try only the grip and see if the problem still exists

PI bet 0.1 cent it will work fine without extension
Mhow come? at first glance it appears to be only a PS/2 extension cable
Pcompatible of course but wiring problem can be there
Pjust test it, if it works okay, you can just open up extension rod and fix the cable wiring
