we have had 0 reports of what you have experienced FanTheDeck also did not run into this from what i know when he helped testing (and at that point there were a lot of stuff not working from what i understood)
when it happened to me I put the tinfoil hat on for a brief moment and thought that you somehow managed to get backdoor accesss to my device doing linux things and disabled my wifi so that I would get frustrated and stop using bazzite altogether so that I would just leave the server and stop complaining about the extensions
Lol i don't even know why i am dual booting now haha. But I have followed your advice to the letter and things seem to be better this time around. Still need to test switching back and forth between game and desktop mode to see if those graphical artifacts are gone. But secure boot is on, and windows is fine, and Grub is letting me switch between the two OS's.
So just to be clear if I boot into windows, the correct way to avoid the bug is to power off the device, rather than reboot. then from a power off state, turn it back on and boot into Bazzite. Right?
Is there an existing issue for this? I have searched the existing issues Is your issue described in the documentation? I have read the documentation Is your issue present in the nightly release? Th...
After using Bazzite for a day, the ONLY thing I would change is the default theme/extensions. I prefer a more stock experience compared to something like fedora (even though fedora has a bit of theming already). Would there be plans on making a stock DE of Bazzite in the future?
Currently when I shutdown/reboot it just goes into almost a false sleep mode. The screen is dark, the fan is running but it will only finish if I hard power it. Even after left for hours.
I have had this issue for over a year and at some point a Bazzite update fixed it for a while and then some other update brought the issue back a while ago.
