Is there a way to restore lockscreen hotkey functionality while in desktop mode running the ally image?
I had it working under Nobara but had to remove the steamdeck-kde-presets package as part of it. I've tried

rpm-ostree override remove steamdeck-kde-presets

rpm-ostree override remove steamdeck-kde-presets

rpm-ostree override remove steamdeck-kde-presets

rpm-ostree override remove steamdeck-kde-presets but it doesn't seem to actually show up as removed in

rpm-ostree status

rpm-ostree status

after reboot.

Does GSConnect work without having to rpm-ostree layer anything? Since I think on my Nvidia laptop I basically will have to use Gnome, but I use KDE connect all the time so it's a concern for me

make custom image where you remove a whole 1-2 files from /usr/etc/sddm.d//usr/etc/sddm.d/
because you have to break the steamos session management to do it, this also enables the normal login screen meaning you have to login every single time you use your ally

The versions are just marketing, we build from Stable fedora 2x a week (or as often as needed), and build ISOs when we feel a change warrants a new one
