It's an alpha... so using it as a daily driver would be highly unlikely.

I think it's pretty usable if you use it besides Gnome/KDE/DE-or-WM-of-choice, not sure if would use it as my sole DE, but I bet it's doable

That's true. There certainly hasn't been a demand for one. Only smaller ISOs which a net install would help solve.
