KOK, using Nvidia, having a consistent issue when using HDR.
Either rebooting, or letting the display fall asleep causes the desktop to be black/unusable unless I disconnect my main monitor that uses HDR.
Removing that config file I mentioned the other day fixes it, but it seems like for whatever reason I’m unable to resume a desktop session on a display with HDR enabled. I basically need to make sure when I’m done using it for the day, I make sure HDR is unchecked and applied.

KOf course, this is a little different from typical Linux so don't feel bad if there's a small learning curve for you

KIt’s a shame too. The dark mod with HDR in Linux looks way better than on windows
KFun fact, if you have a Nvidia card with DVI it will just go ahead and never display from that port

KYou might be able to make a systemd service that toggles HDR off before it goes to sleep

GI'm having a similar issue. Every time my displays fall asleep I have to manually turn HDR mode "off" for them to work. It's very weird because I'm using X11 which doesn't even support HDR but for some reason bazzite is switching my monitors into HDR mode

KYeah I had to do Ctrl + alt + F3 and remove the file that way, then F2 back into the desktop

PJust popping in to say after 5+ years of testing the Linux waters and always running back to Windows, Bazzite on my Ally X w/ GNOME is what finally made me genuinely enjoy Linux. This has been my daily driver for 2+ weeks now and honestly can't see any reason to go back. I have had zero "actual" issues that didn't have a simple solution.
