TYe I think Kyle is US based and probably sleeping I only use 1 Keyboard layout (Spanish) but maybe Bazzite needs ibus for something else?
Rif u only use 1 keyboard then you can disable it

TRestarted and all good text is working fine, no more unintended double "dash" in Path of Exile. Just got to remember to remove this in future upgrades, well if the issue ever gets fixed...
Abtw your issue is present only in game or in desktop as well?
TIt was present in 2 games for sure, Elden Ring and Path of Exile. On the Desktop it's hard to tell, I write very fast and sometimes it repeats a character but it's difficult to understand if it's me, the keyboard or a software issue that makes characters repeat themselves.
TAnyway I'm happy there is a workaround for games. Happy camper here.
Aif it only present or noticeable in game, you could put the environment in launch option, less invasive that way
KOdd. Setting my UMA size to 4gb on my Legion Go seems to have stopped me from getting desktop slowdown/stuttering/ourright freezing requiring a hard reboot sometimes when gaming in Desktop mode

Cis it possible to set the Desktop Mode to be locked with a pin? in case a younger sibling for example would play on my unit, that way they can’t access desktop and only be locked in big picture view!

OErr, mayday, i attempted to install the Catppuccin KDE Plasma theme through their own script and doing so has resulted in a black screen and eventual hang after logging in
