But I feel you.. sometimes I have to itch to move to Arch or Debian :D
I respect Mint, for what it has done for the Linux community, but I think I'd pick Debian over mint. I just don't like that Mint is based on Ubuntu, which is based on Debian. (I know there is LMDE)
yeah the performance loss due to pci-e lanes and thunderbolt overhead made it make more sense to just use steam in home streaming from my desktop with my 7600XT.
Arch keeps calling my name but god damn is it a headache lol Mint is honestly just super easy to use and that’s why people recommend it so often as a great starting distro. I’ve tried like 10+ distros in the last week so I just wanted to settle in on one only for desktop tho I still love bazzite for steamOS like I said
LOL :D Yeah, np many ppl enjoy mint. As you said it's rock solid!
Buuuut no joke, I never had to rollback on bazzite because of broken updates. I just used the feature, when I layered something and wanted to reverse it ^^
But yeah, mint + bazzite seems like a solid combo!
Killer combo for sure. There’s no community like the bazzite community tho no joke. I’ve joined a bunch of distro discords and they don’t even compare. Everyone here is so active, helpful, and chill
Can anyone explain why changing my UMA from 'auto' to '4GB' on my Legion Go would resolve freezes when gaming in Desktop mode? (The games would stutter, slow, and then freeze, which to me seems like it was an OOM issue)
Hello guys! lets say I would install Bazzite on a Steam Deck, use a ext4 SD to move my games to the Steam Deck and then would want to enable SD-Card btrfs, is that possible?
