Last question, screen resolution 2560-1440 on the desktop, when changing to any other resolution, the screen becomes black for 10 seconds, then returns to default.Is it possible to change this somehow?

just like your display is only capable of 60hz, it's only capatable of the native resolution. The legion go is the same

For games to look smooth you gotta have even devisions of the displays refresh rate. 30fps/60hz, 30fps/90hz and so on. If you have something uneven you’ll have frames being displayed either too many times or not even times. Not a great explanation but the jist of it

Legion Go is the same resolution at 144hz, so you have a lot more framerate cap options

for what it's worth i just ran rpm-ostree uninstall and then install with the new rpm. seems to have done the trick
