Avol buttons require bios 3.06 on the 6800u win 4

TI keep having xwayland crash while playing a specific game, and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it.
TSpecifically Guardians of the Galaxy on Steam. The game runs fine for a bit. Then randomly crashes with this message:

Ai don't think there's a way to update the bios from linux, so yeah probably

TI've tried some of the solutions people have posted. Not all yet.
Ajust make sure you get the right bios
Asometimes it's easy to mix up bios between different win4 models
