How can I add password protection for unlocking the device in desktop mode?
I am able to set a password in gaming mode, but locking the device in desktop mode allows to unlock without any kind of protection

Kwhat you can do is switch to gamemode when you want to lock, and rely on gamemode's pin entry
Kdesktop images of course lack this limitation and come with standard SDDM/GDM
