Hey guys. I am thinking about this OS for mini ITX so I can use It as a console in my living room. I have an RTX 2060. What are the disadvantages over AMD? Will It function properly?
Sunshine and moonlight work fine, but following all the setup steps to launch games via moondeck and trying to launch any game from the deck gives me the same error ' host returned error: failed to start the specified application (error zero)' on the deck', and an 'Application MoonDeckStream successfully stopped' notification on my Bazzite PC
I mean I can still run games via moonlight itself, but because I have an nvidia card, steam's gaming mode on my pc is a no-go, so I have to dance around a stream of my desktop using a controller, which never feels great
Was already set to 2 - it's my only option as I'm just using the TVs built in speakers. Interestingly I just booted into windows for the first time since installing Bazzite and there are no audio output issues on the same screen when outputting at an actual 4k
there shouldn't be anything in terms of the immutability that would block this from working, right? sorry, I know I'm always asking about that side of things!
the only reason I think it might be permissions related is the error I get in sunshine is [2024:08:18:18:24:12]: Info: Executing: ["/home/myusername/Downloads/MoonDeckBuddy-1.6.1-x86_64.AppImage --exec MoonDeckStream"] in ["/home/myusername/Downloads"] [2024:08:18:18:24:12]: Warning: Couldn't run ["/home/myusername/Downloads/MoonDeckBuddy-1.6.1-x86_64.AppImage --exec MoonDeckStream"]: System: No such file or directory
initially tried installing it to the appimages folder via gearleaver, but wasn't sure whether that was doing something funky, so am now trying with it staying right where it is in downloads
We got it working in the end, but could only get the command working with MoonDeckStream (one of the two binaries contained in the AppImag) as a symlink.
running MoonDeckBuddy.AppImage --exec MoonDeckStream for some reason didnt work, as sunshine would be convincd that doesn't exist. I don't know if this is useful at all to you guys! Let me know if there are any other logs or info I can send if it's useful or suggest some other underlying weirdness.
Hello. I just eant to ask can i just use this command to change to gnome? rpm-ostree rebase ostree-unverified-registry:ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-gnome:stable
Have you tried other screens over HDMI? This is the bit that's throwing me off - I don't understand how the same device / dock / cable is fine on 3 out of the 4 screens I've tried
