Aas someone who uses their machine to produce binary image builds for imaging to sd cards this is incredibly frustrating. Not least that 'safely removing' means that the media needs replugging

Aplugging stuff in will automount it irrespective of wether the automount service has checkboxes ticked or not
AIIRC this may be related to steam implementing it ; was an issue on nobara as well

Kbut it's SD card specific, and only for one filesystem

Kit's a SteamOS package but not handled by steam
Ka udev rule handles the mount
AI mainly dd stuff to sd cards so having it mounted is a problem
APlasma has an automount diaglog/action set in settings - but it's not honored with the current setup
KThis is the rule, could try tossing a blank one into /etc
