blocks with snow are weird
it's a dark structure yet the slight snow on top makes it almost entirely white, is it possible to alter it so it ignores snow covered blocks? or something to make it look better

Had the same issue, finally found a fix. Hopefully this helps!
Distant Horizons configs -> Advanced Options -> Graphics -> Render Quality -> Tint With Avoided Blocks to False
