van -79 error code every time i launch the game. says connectivity issue. not sure whats wrong.

Open CMD (windows key + R and type “”CMD“”)
Type ipconfig /release
Wait a few seconds for a confirmation indicating that the IP address has been released
Type ipconfig /renew
Wait a few seconds for a confirmation indicating that the IP address has been re-established
Type ipconfig /flushdns

Then check that the problem has been resolved. But if you still have an error, let's try a clean reinstallation of both Vanguard and League:

First uninstall Riot Vanguard following the steps in the link
Once this is done, follow the first 2 steps of the previous link but uninstall League of Legends
Go to the folder where you saved your Riot games (the default is C:\Riot Games ) and delete the League of Legends and Riot Client folders.
You can either send them to the trash and then empty the trash or delete them with Shift+Delete.
Restart your computer.
Download the game installer again and run it
