Pbecause il2 devs didn’t answer me (they seems thatt they are busy for il2 korea and new flying circus) I decides to use sticky option but it uses native ffb information even though I turned on sticky option. it is way to low centering force. any idea? kindly help me

JWhat's the name / Part number of the USB board side connector (white four pin female)? Mine's still a bit flaky after resoldering and I'd like to build another assembley as backup when / if this one fails
TJST-PH (2.0mm). If you think you will be doing a lot of crimping in the future I would suggest the crimping tool “Engineer PA-24” otherwise just get the cheap crimpers that come with the kits from Amazon.
AAfter last update of telem ffb I’ll-2 does not connect, I noticed I had to reenable it in config, but still no connection, has anyone else had this problem, any suggestions I may have overlooked.
Ndrop your telemffb log here (from %localappdata%\VPForce-TelemFFB\log). Most probaby something else is failing which is prohibiting normal operation.

Anevermind, it works now, not sure what happend but the only thing i did was turn up shaking in il-2 force feedback tab from 0 to 100
LI received my Rhino a couple of days ago and have been testing it out - it's as amazing as everyone says it is!
LJust have a quick question - is it recommended to cut off power to the motors (big red button) when it is not in use?
GThat’s exactly what I do. I cut power to it when I’m done flying. And turn it on when I get in the pit.
HI use a switched outlet. Either way, it does the same. It is always good practice to physically cut power to unused devices.

BI have a winwing adapter which was working fine yesterday then today this started. Also button 32 is lit up, I've tried reconnected several times but no luck, all pins are present and noy bent. Can anyone say how to fix this?

RDCS is having a polling issue with mouses. How often is the vpforce software polling and teleffb polling? since the joystick is constantly moving, i have wondered if its caused some issues like the mouse polling. Just noticed some stuttering witht he ingame fps graph when moving cyclic in game. The stutters on the graph go away whne not moving the cyclic. @Number481
WButton 32 means it's communicating with the base but no connection with the grip, check the top end connection, try pushing/wiggling the 6pin WinWIng plug a little deeper
Nwe use the standard export script which is a loop that executes on every simulation frame. So the rate is effectively equal to your frame rate.

BDid that several times before and after your msg. On one of the wiggles after your msg I got a few lights flash and now nothing, not even 32. If I purchase another adapter on the sight do I get put on a waiting list? Thanks for the help.

N"should work"... are you having issues? The telemetry setup for IL2 isn't well documented. Its possible to set up multiple telemetry receivers, and the auto-install code in TelemFFB has logic to do it, even if you already have stuff configured for another device. This Section of the manual is still applicable (I should pull it out of the legacy documentation section).
SI'm getting a few faults: Ive attached screen shots, wonder if anyone has an idea how to fix, They are both motors unexpected D faults, then move to both Motor encoder faults
NIt ultimately depends on what effects you have started on the effects tab (or are starting via TelemFFB), but your friction/inertia/damper are quite high and you could see instability cause the motors to go into protection fault, especially when periodic effects start playing.

BHello, is it possible with IL2 to have a bass shaker work at the same time with the Rhino? I am reading section 8.5.2 of the manual and I had it auto-configure, but still no output to the bass shaker (using Andre’s simshaker software)
JI'm pretty sure the rhino has nothing to do with your simshaker not working. Just to be sure, have you had your basshaker working prior to installing the rhino? Are you using the correct Simshaker Wings software? DCS uses SImshaker for Aviators...
SUsing a 4'" extension, I tuned the gain, inertia, and damper down and it appears to be stable.
NShould work, AFAIK. I dont use a bass shaker and don't have the SS Wings software, but I did a quick test with the github project "il2 shaker", just to test output to multiple receivers from IL2 and it works as expected.

BThanks all - must be an issue with simshaker software, it’s a fresh install. I used to have a jetseat but now switching over to a buttkicker. I’m afk for a bit but I’ll see if I can debug the simshaker end first.
NSuggest removing the telemetry and motion configs from the startup.cfg and then reinstalling the shaker software to let it insert itself first. Make sure that’s working, then try to set the decimation value to 1 and make sure it still works. Then let TelemFFB add itself. Will require sim restart every time you change the setup.cfg file.
FMotor Temperatures? Is it normal for one motor to run hotter than the other and how hot is the normal thermal operating range and what temperature is considered too high. The y motor is consistently hotter than the x motor by 4 to 5 degrees C when near idle and can get much hotter when utilized. Thanks in advance.
WYeah totally, the Y motor works a bit more probably to balance the grip
BPartial success! The bass shaker and Rhino are both working! But now the SRS for IL2 client is not - I think I will have to keep playing with the telemetry settings in IL2’s startup.cfg
NAs I said, its not well documented. I don't know if you can add 3 receiver definitions to the config, I don't think adding an
addr2 will work. Others have solved it using the UDP forwarding feature of the SS Wings app https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/57925-simshaker-wings-support-thread-for-il-2-users/page/23/#comment-1292475. Here you would put in the ip/port needed to forward the data to SRS.BForwarding the UDP port from Simshaker Wings did the trick! Thanks @Number481 !
VWhat size are the screws holding on the dust cover? The manual says Torx T5 but they are DEFINITELY not that small! Never mind, found out by trial and error - it's a T10.
GJust had the back off to get to the cut off switch which was playing up, same as before just had a wiggle and it's working again. While I had the back off I pulled one of the connectors to test something and as I expected it won't power up, problem is the switch is failing powered on so it can't be a connector issue, it has to be a switch issue.
Is it possible to buy a replacement switch? as it's a pain to disasemble everything
On another note, is there any issue with me designing a duct and putting a bigger fan on this to replace the inbuilt one as it's very loud when it comes on.

MHi All……need of some help. I just got the DIY motor and controller PCB to fabricate a collective control, but no data sheet or similar instructions were included in how to wire up the two. I searched for about an hour on google, YT and on the VPforce web site but I’m at a loss as to where to find the info. Obviously it must be somewhere as plenty have done their own setups using the DIY motor and controller. Maybe I’m just dumb but can’t find any data sheet or tech info.

HIn the assembly instructions you can find on the protomaker github is a wiring diagram. you can also go to the knowledge base for the Crosswind Pedals Mod. There is a picture of the wiring. You just need to plug in the other motor for a collective.
