Dressing well for my first time talking to a girl I like?
So, there's this girl in my uni class. I've been working up the courage to approach her for a few days now but I'm self conscious about my appearance. I'm a big dude, 6'1 270 lbs, former fit now chunky but not roly poly type fat. But since weight loss isn't a quick fix I'm trying to make up for that in other categories, mostly grooming and clothes.
I have some nice clothes but I feel like a lot of them aren't exactly flattering or don't feel like something that would stick out to a girl necessarily. I wanna dress better then average but not in a tryhard way, more like I've shown that I care about how I look and put in effort. I'm on a budget so I usually get my clothes from Hudson's Bay or H&M. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
