Biggest flaw for CodeBuild atm is the p50/p95 queue time which is way longer than native GitHub Actions runners. I'm really interested in how much faster Workers could be in this scenario since they use V8 Isolate without any coldstart.

Workers Builds!

can't seem to get Bun working though... even tried setting BUN_VERSION build env var, tried .tools-versions. Anyone get this working? Also a retry button on failed builds would be very helpful!

adding assets to workers is sick and i've got it working. but not_found_handling = "single-page-application"not_found_handling = "single-page-application" doesn't seem to quite work without handling in the worker? Am i right about that? You want to bind it and hand the request back to assets to get the correct asset.

What happens if you have multiple parallel worker requests from same colo that make use of the Cache API and there is a Cache Miss, the key/data stored in the Cache API is the same in all requests.

Do all the worker requests try to hit the origin at once or are things smart enough to so that only one worker request hits the origin and the rest will pull from the Cache?

That's the same for any plan. It's not "the nearest colo to the worker", workers run directly in colos. Cache is all PoP based now though

no, cache api is only local. What do you mean "closer"? though, closer to what? Maybe you want something like Smart Placement to run the worker closer to your backend?

Is there some restriction about headers that can be sent from subrequests or something like this? Because using scheduled()scheduled() I'm doing a request to an API every x minutes, providing the etag from the last request in the If-None-MatchIf-None-Match header to avoid further computing if the data isn't changed. While this works perfectly locally (api returns 304), when deploying the api is returning a normal 200 with the same etag as the old one, like if it didn't correctly receive it. Is this somehow a problem on my end?

Does the subrequests metric include also D1/KV or only fetch? Checking the docs it seems that only fetch is counted:

Subrequests are requests triggered by calling fetch from within a Worker. A subrequest that throws an uncaught error will not be counted.

But in the limits section it is specified that subrequests also include D1/KV so this is a bit confusing

yeah I see, but I don't understand what that metric actually represent. I should be doing two fetch calls and 2 requests to KV/D1 per worker invocation so I'm assuming that the metric shown (4 subrequests per worker invocation) includes both, but the docs say otherwise...
