Is "exciting features" dynamic bindings? I'm bored of waiting for a feature that is a requirement to using D1 properly. Redeploying my worker every time I get a new customer to get past the 10gb limitation using an external service is just plain stupid. The D1 team should probably ask the DO team if they can borrow their binding code

these kind of statements don't help, I myself like what Cloudflare is doing in general and of course would like to have features now, but making a case for why they didn't even show a sneak-peak when they have the resources needed to do whatever it takes to at least keep the hype going is not good.

Personally, I was waiting for the multi-tenant feature or at least a sneak as to how it would be implemented to plan ahead for some future projects. But I can only rely on what's available today, leaving no other choice tbh.

The 10GB limit is more of an architectural limit (they probably could go a little higher but 10GB is a safe limit per DB)

@celestial, have you looked into the possibility of moving to Durable Objects? The limit there is actually only 1GB for now but it's going up to 10GB when it goes GA. However, you can create millions of them and not have to specify each instance in your workers.tomlworkers.toml file. That's the architecture I'm switching to.

Does d1 support transitions at all and if so how would I use them? I see some documentation for the procedures but it doesnt look like thats supported anymore and nothing I find seems to work. And just using normal sqlite transactions dont work.

Kinda. Not I. The db. It does JavaScript transactions, so because the code has to run in multiple places it's really difficult to have a tradition transaction. You can call things in a batch though,if you just want SQL.
