AI have five sensors. Can I transfer their readings from the Arduino to the ESP32 via UART or do I need level shift?
USince they operate on different voltage level, the best way to use level converter or else you can bring the voltage of arduino to 3.3V. This can be done by a voltage divider circuit using one 10k resistors and one 20k resistor at Tx Pin of Arduino.

KYou can select from 15 online and 34 (!) offline models.
KThe offline models need to be downloaded just once. Then you could plug out your internet connection if you wish so.
KIdeal for security
KBut, I must admit that the local models are a bit slow. The online ones are much faster in responding.
