Got this annoying error every time when i run terminal or install something. How to get rid of it?

you have added some tweak or function that is attempting to load

LD_PRELOAD

in that way. you need to find out what is running in the background on every run. check

VKD3D and DXVK are rolled in with Proton. Vulkan is essentially driven by Mesa, which is 24.1.7 on FC40: https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/mesa/mesa-vulkan-drivers/

Mesa? Im using NVIDIA GPU. But the version of Vulkan is 1.3.290 even tho the last is supposed to be 1.3.296

Maybe it will sound dumb but I played RDR 2 and the frametime was a bit choppy so i thought why no to experiment...

Actually on Reddit when i had an issue with God Of War they recommended me bleeding edge, it didn't actually help but updating DXVK solved the issue with VRAM (coincidentally, the last version had a fix for NVIDIA GPUs and it was released just 2 days ago lol)

Extest is used for steam input on Wayland.
Only way you get the error (which is nothing wrong) in the terminal is if you browse game files from steam and open a terminal through that browser window.

because you opened dolphon/nautilus from steam which then grabs the LD_PRELOAD from steam

Will check that when I get home in about an hour. I think I DID open nautilus from steam at one point in that session, but I then closed it, later opened it again, then used it to open the terminal, which I then closed and reopened. Would the processes for nautilus and the terminal be tainted for the rest of the session after being opened in such a way once?

ok yeah, looks like I was misremembering, and did indeed only launch the terminal from nautilus, or at least didn't close it completely afterwards (I opened new tabs, but that wouldn't fix the issue, that makes sense), yay
