HThough it probably wouldn’t be helpful anyway, since you would also need to be using the same setup to have an accurate comparison
HLike, if your CPUs are slower than CFs then you would be using more in Local Mode

NI was wondering, would it be possible to make a worker respond to Websockets o SSE events?
As in, keeping a long running connection, and reacting to incomming messages.
I know that workers currently have no limit on wall time, only limiting cpu time, and the worker would be idle while waiting for events..
But i have no idea on how one would "bind" that, if it was possilbe
My usecase is that i have a provider that emmits cdc events using a SSE endpoint, that constantly sends out the events, and i want to capture and process them with CF

AI have a huge issue. A worker route is not working. Its in worker routes, the domain is attached to the worker. But when I look, I don't see the worker in the dns records... :/
MHello guys, i've been trying to setup two integrations for my worker, sentry & baselime. But turns out, the wizard overwrote the previous tail worker.
Does it make sense to any of you to write a tail worker to push to 1 queue per integration, ie: sentry-queue baselime-queue and write consumers to push in batch to each service?

Aremoved the domain and added it back to the worker fixed it... hopefully this doesn't happen again :/
AAre these notifications still a thing? https://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-workers-usage-notifications/ I see them on my account, but not receiving the emails, and "test" button doesn't send anything. Just wondering if there's a good way to keep tabs on increased CPU usage for a worker than handles a huge number of requests (where a change from 1ms to 5ms could see a big jump in billing).

ANever tried WebSockets with Workers, but any reason not to use Durable Objects? As they have built-in handling for WebSockets, and will be a lot more cost-effective than a Worker as they can hibernate while not processing messages
SNo particular reason, we’ve been using workers for our http server, just need to add sockets for a endpoint now
AI’d take a look at Durable Objects in that case - Workers are perfect for HTTP, but Durable Objects are designed to handle WebSockets, so a lot better fit
