I use this brake lever or the Spitfire and Mosquito, in DCS the hand brake is super sensitive, is there a recommended setting that will make this lever operated brake less sensitive?
This is a cool new option. I was wondering, is there enough room currently in the Rhino design to install a better fan that might improve cooling even more?
There are ways to design your own panels for 3D printing. I actually installed a Phanteks T30. But don’t expect to much. The Motor-Housing is a good heatsink due to its thermal mass - until it is saturated, then it gets difficult to cool, because it has very little surface area compared to its thermal mass. More airflow is always better, but not by much when the heat transfer is poor. I‘m actually thinking about adding some of those to the motors:
If cooling becomes a factor though strongly depends on your kind of flying. Mainly an issue in dogfighting with aircraft that can hold a lot of G for a prolonged time…. No factor in basic flying, Air to ground or helicopters.
THe F-14 in dogfights heats the motors up very quickly I found. I I'll have to see if I can find heatsinks that are the right size for the motors. I have one that I thermal taped to the back of a GPU backplate a few years ago that might be too big.

Directly on the motors. Otherwise they would have no effect. You need five heatsinks per Motor 4 on the sides and one on the bottom. (Well, you don’t NEED, but that would have the greatest effect)
