Right there in the stm32cubemx go to the middleware section and turn on freeRTOS . After dat you should check wher you would see Tasks and Queues and click Add to make more of tasks. When the code is generated, you’ll see the tasks in freertos.c

From what I know freeRTOS uses multiple stacks, one for each tasks , and an incorrectly sized stack for the tasks can lead to a hardfault

Just joined the community and thought I’d introduce myself. I’ve always been into electronics – started out building little circuits, got my HAM license, and even built my first computer, a ZX Spectrum, back in high school.

I’m a Maritime SATCOM professional with over 25 years of experience in tech support, product training, integration/testing, project management, SATCOM/RF solutions, and consulting.

Recently, I've been diving into the IoT space, and it’s been an exciting new journey!

It’s amazing looking at the IoT projects out there now—so many of them are things I wanted to build back in the day (early 80's) but couldn’t, thanks to a limited budget! Then life and work took over, and my hobby took a back seat. Now, as I get closer to retirement, I finally have the time to dive back in. But with all the options available now, it feels like you’ve got to first pick a project, then spend some time learning about it before you dive in. I’m hoping that connecting with people in communities like this will be a huge help in catching up on everything I’ve missed and getting back to what I love doing!
