Ive set the variable NUXT_ENV = 'dev' in my preview environment and I've got the following in my nuxt.config.ts file

so... theres some complication with this pages project that is probably relevant to that message

I renamed the repo and transfered it to an org (rather than being on my personal) a while ago. This broke pages, so as a quick fix I added a deploy hook to build it when I make a commit still. This has worked for months, until now apparently?

i created another pages project a month or two ago pointing to the new repo location, and that one built fine. It just doesnt have all of the bindings set up so I havent replaced the old one yet

Hey there

I set up my first prototype project via pages and I'm satisfied that I got it running. However, my journey was a bit bumpy and I'm asking for input for some decisions I made:

I stick to Next14 since I read there are still some issues that have to be worked out, am I right?
I did the setup as described in the docs, using next-on-pages. I also saw a yt video from Cloudflare using the opennextjs but I read somewhere that stuff like middleware is not supported yet, so I stuck to the docs. But opennext is the future right?
I was unsure about the wrangler.tomlwrangler.toml setup und reading the docs, I found the command npx wrangler pages download config <PROJECT_NAME>npx wrangler pages download config <PROJECT_NAME> to set it up automatically. That also added env vars that I already set up via the dashboard. As far as I understood it, I can't just ignore this file on git since it is needed for the automatic builds. I simply deleted the variables for now. I didn't dig too deep into it but as long as I don't set up other workers which need the vars I should be good for now, right? I also assume there are other ways to use the vars to support open source projects

I just stumbled upon something weird that turned out funny af. I have a pages site with an url of the pattern example.com/docs/numexample.com/docs/num and there's a doc with the num 404 naturally (docs/404.html) which wasn't indented to be the 404 page not found. I was debugging why navigating to a doc page with a doc num that doesn't exist showed the page of the doc with the num 404 since I already have a custom 404 page not found in the root level of the website and was trying to fix that before discovering that cf pages has a 404 code custom page support for subdirs too. Now I will let this (feature-not-a-bug) as it is cause this is the best 404 page I've ever seen.

@Kiki Y There are at least 6 unique reports of this in Discord and the linked forum thread. Please raise an incident so the Pages team can investigate - this is not an isolated incident that needs a ticket.

The Pages deployment ID is a unique build identifier.
It's the UUID in the browser bar (for example, a URL would be dash.cloudflare.com/ACCOUNT_ID/pages/view/PROJECT/DEPLOYMENT_IDdash.cloudflare.com/ACCOUNT_ID/pages/view/PROJECT/DEPLOYMENT_ID where the deployment ID looks something like a398d794-7322-4c97-96d9-40b5140a8d9ba398d794-7322-4c97-96d9-40b5140a8d9b).
This ID can help troubleshoot some issues with Pages builds so if you have a failing build make sure you grab that ID for the team to use.
