NI mean a crude way is to just spawn a window and make it hidden. But that is not cross-platform friendly at all.
NWish Avalonia gave me a surface like how WPF does it with DirectX.

A- Dual boot a windows partition, although I don't plan to use secure boot so many games won't work anyway (and it's also a bit of a pain)
- Give in and only use windows (not an option I like much, but possible)
- Have 2 machines, one is my main desktop pc, other is a "steam machine" that runs windows (expensive but not a bad option)

Pif your PC requires upgrades and it's only for gaming, just get a game console. otherwise I'd say dual boot if it's that important.
