I've noticed that DNS proxying is enabled for my domain, but I'm unable to disable it because the DNS record is marked as read-only. The message states that "This record was generated by Cloudflare R2." As a result, I cannot directly modify the DNS settings to disable proxying.

I wanted to let you know that I've resolved the issue with the images not displaying. I removed the Custom Domains and switched to using the R2.dev URL. Now users can see the images without any problems.

Falling back to IPv4 aka "Happy Eyeballs" is a browser thing, not a HTTP thing, fetch calls etc will not fall back to IPv4

Hi there!
We are facing issues with end users uploading files to cloudflare R2. Our users upload files from their browsers using presigned urls. Sometimes they get 502 errors, usually when they upload 1000+ files in one go. Under the hood, not all uploads are started simultaneously . Usually there are 10-100 file uploads at the same time. I can't reproduce the errors, but they keep happening.
Are there any limits on R2 side that stop uploads or does anyone have an idea what could cause this error?
It's unlikely related to the underlying machine or internet connection since this is happening for multiple users of us.

Maybe this is naive but: 5xx errors are temporary and whatever uploads should then just try again (with exponential backoff at best)?

I recently moved this domain from another of my cloudflare accounts to this account. Its been more than a day. I can attach subdomains of this domain to bucket but the root domain fails to be attached for some reason. How can i resolve this? Any tips?

turns out the old config from the previous account still persists. I thought once the domain moved it would remove any related config. But nope. You need to delete old bindings to R2 if you had any

I am trying to upload files to r2 using aws-sdk/client-s3 from workers.

question: do we need to cleanup file from worker memory once it's uploaded to r2?

context:
I had been using lambda heavily before I got into cloudflare stack and in AWS lambda, we would generally have a clean up mechanism incase there was an error or even in successfull execution, at the end to make sure the persistent storage doesn't get jammed; (eventhough its serverless, everything is stored in same allocated space for a period of 10 minutes or something)

incase the video got downloaded upto 90% and then failed - my worker will return a 500 error as well (according to my code) and that's it for this particular execution.

after this - will cloudflare take care of that 90% of the partially downloaded file and clear it from memory? let's say 50 Mbs
and I don't need to take care of that

I don't think js gc would be able to take care of the persistent storage
once its stored - its stored right

in serverless infra - they separate out all the resources and try to make it kinda independent from each other
but that won't be practical realistically - so this is what AWS does with lambda

and we have faced cases where this had become an issue before we implemented the cleanup

looking to try using r2 as a solution to hosting the update files for an application i'm working on. i intend to use github actions to push the update files to the r2 bucket. for testing and familiarization, i tried using both rclone and awscli to simply browse the r2 bucket. awscli gives me the error "could not connect to the endpoint url: https://s3.auto.amazonaws.com" but i have specified my access key id, secret key, and r2 endpoint using the command
