oh I just meant more in my original message I said "it isn't recommended because it has rate limits", but Cloudflare's description is "and", as you lose other bits too like caching/waf/etc

so the most likely cause is there's some sort of script blocker, either in your browser or on the network. Or, your browser is not allowing Javascript to run.

if you're getting errors to unblock challenge domains, it's more than likely a local issue
