Hello, I have a question, if I want to access an image uploaded to a R2 bucket from a website, lets say in a html <img> tag, do I need to put the whole bucket into a public domain?

It seems like I am barely able to get 2MB/s on some of my objects today. Transfers starts fast and gets heavily throttled after few seconds, to KB/s. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have a similar question, how do I access the files in the bucket, other than using the public bucket, I did the development using the s3 sdk and found the pre-signed url to provide the download of the file, but I can't seem to set the url without the time limit

hey guys, i am trying to retrieve a picture from one of my r2 buckets from localhost, but whenever I try doing so I get a ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH, any ideas as to how I could fix this?

Seems like r2 is actually pretty fast, casually syncing at 20gbps with rclone

Yeah, sorry, I just meant that we don’t provide an outward-facing way of determining what colo your bucket is created in, nor do we provide any guarantees that the bucket will stay in that particular colo

The only guarantees provided are with Jurisdictions, where buckets created within a jurisdiction will always spawn in colos supported by said jurisdiction

Hello everyone, I’m new here.
I started using R2 a few months ago. I knew it had a free tier, but I later realized I wasn’t getting charged for my R2 usage. I didn’t think much about it when invoices weren’t being generated.

Now, I’ve reached a point where I have around 1TB of files stored and millions of operations. I’m worried that if I contact support, they might terminate my account due to this billing glitch or issue a pending bill for the last 8 months.

The other option I’m considering is migrating all the files to a new Cloudflare account without this subscription glitch.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue before?

A little hint about R2. Cloudflare calculates the data size in R2 as decimal, not binary. So every 1 tb of data you upload will be calculated as 1.09 TB. Yes, I uploaded about 10 tb (the size shown in Linux) and it shows 10.99 TB. I will pay 15$ more
