KI know you can use and forward the cloudflare stream to another output source, but is there anyway to supply 2 sources and have it failover seamlessly if one goes offline? I'm trying to work out if this could be used to avoid twitch stream drops etc when OBS crashes or allow cutting over to a static video playlist for someone streaming while mobile on starlink etc and other places where connectivity can drop.
There's some services that support this currently but they're all pretty average in terms of features and expensive as hell.

1AWS Medialive would be my choice here, I already use it at some scale for cloud stream compositing
1Storage is prepaid in 1000min increments. Delivery is postpaid, charged in 1000min increments. So for example, my last invoice had 5091 mins delivered, and I was chared $6

For example I got 63,695 minutes last month, which ended up being ~60 in charges (1000 min at $1).

1If you can transcode your videos to HLS offplatform, then you could store and serve using CF's #r2 service which has an S3-compatible API
1R2 doesn't charge at all for ingress or egress, just $0.05 per GB

IThey'd be non-zero especially for HLS, since they're smaller chunks
IStill cheaper overall than Stream though.

Dits not a case of if the video works it's the fact I'm trying to block it from working on other sites which i have many to test with
1Might need to modify m3u8 yourself, Stream doesn't allow direct modify of the manifest. Might be better with a compositing service like Medialive

1yes, there absolutely is a ticketing system. The Discord is more a community effort, any employees in here mostly are here on their own time. You can also pay for a support plan as well, if you truly need depp level of help
