🤘 The "answer" is already documented... sort of... just poorly and out of date. In the games manual/troubleshooting guide (pg54 in my copy) there is a section about using the devreorder tool. In there it mentions force feedback... but it's not really obvious that this part of the troubleshooting section is talking about fixing the enumeration issue. It also says to use the 32 bit DLL. I spent a good hour or two trying different things and could not get it to recognize the new device ordering. Then I noticed the exe is
Launcher64
so I thought to try the 64 bit DLL.. it worked.

My "test" mostly consisted of starting up the "first solo" training mission and making sure the game started a spring with 0 gain on the right device. I did briefly do an air start and saw I had spring force and felt some stall buffeting.

I don't know what other FFB gremlins may exist in the title.
