Set custom download speed?
Is there a way to limit the download speed of heroic? I cant download a game and listen to music at the same time because heroic takes up too much bandwidth!
Ano, the tools heroic uses behind the scenes (legendary, gogdl, nile) don't have any bandwidth limitation
Uthen maybe there should be a feature to use an external downloader (like https://freedownloadmanager.org) but even then, there should be a way to not have to do that by limiting the speed the app can download at at application level, like telling the application that only a specific bandwidth exists or something (as you can probably tell, im not a (good) developer and idk if any of this is possible but its worth looking into imo)
AI did try to do something at the heroic level, but I couldn't find any reliable and crossplatform way of doing that
Awe can't use an external downloader, the tools we use are in charge of the download, not heroic, and those tools handle authentication and all the complexity of each store
AI imagine there must be tools that run at the OS level (like some firewall feature?) to limit the bandwidth for different applications, but I don't know any specific option
