Call of Juarez Gunslinger: Game isn't playing
I'm new to Heroic launcher, Wine, CrossOver, etc.
I tried installing Call of Juarez Gunslinger Windows installer file I got from Amazon Prime (which in turn from GOG) on Mac M1. Heroic says the game is installed. When I try to play, it says it's playing but it is not.
First time, GOG installed and asked for installation location for this game. But didn't install. When I restart Heroic and try, it doesn't show GOG apps anymore and throws installation failed error after some time.
I initially tried with default settings with Wine Stable 9. Later, re-installed a couple of times by clearing cache and logs. Changed to Wine Crossover 23.7.1. WINECFG has Windows 10 chosen. Getting different errors every time I re-install.

if the game is in your GOG library, it's better to install it by logging into GOG in heroic so the game shows up in the library, then the GOG integration will probably take care of installing its dependencies like .NET
also, you probably want to enable the autoinstallation of DXVK, you don't want that disabled in general, specially with wine-crossover

Thanks, logging into GOG solved the problem. Login into Amazon Prime and installing the game didn't work.

Amazon gave you a gog key thus its in your gog library not amazon, so this makes sense...
