I'm having issues getting the brake axis to show up on the constellation alpha - any ideas?

JWhich grip do you have selected in VPForce config?
WConstellation Alpha(Prime)
JIt won't allow you to calibrate? The whole axis is not there?
JHave you tried loading a default profile?
WI can 'calibrate' them. But when I twist or squeeze the lever, the Raw Value doesn't change
WThe buttons exist, It' s just not picking up any input when I move those axes

JYes in the configurator. Did you close the calibration?

WThe thumbstick inputs are being read. I can callibrate those just fine.

WAlso, if I plug in the stick, it seems like its random whether the light on the stick turns on or not
WI think it's my stick unfortunately - VPC's software couldn't see those axes either :/
WSO, any suggestions on a stick that will survive the FFB abuse?
Jis there a firmware update for the stick?
WI don't think for the stick, but there was for my virpil base

WYes, didn't see the twist or brake axis in that software either.

WWhen I say didn't see twist or brake axis, I mean any input on those axes wasn't picked up. I can see the thumbstick though. And the actual base's inputs.

Jif neither the VPForce configurator or the VPC configuration tool show any input to the axis, it could be a hardware issue.
WHopefully I can just replace that connector. I have a feeling one of the pins has gone bad. Nothing is crooked.

RWhat is the best WWI simulator out there that plays well with the Rhino and FFB? I saw the IL-2 Flying Circus one but I don't think I want the Base game unless people recommend it as worthy.

Ji had an extension with had the DIN5 connector break off into the Rhino base. could be your issue considering the lights
WI don't know if Rise of Flight works with FFB, I doubt it does, but that's the only alternative
WI don't think anything has broken off into the base fortunately.
JDCS and IL-2 is all I'm aware...
WAlso.. Flying Circus is awesome man, I think it's very much worth it.
RGot DCS covered, was feeling that I wanted to use the Rhino with an old biplane and see how they feel in FFB. One of the first videos I saw of a Rhino review the guy was using it with a WWI plane sim and the stick was limp until the airwash straightened out the ailerons. VERY COOL. Hoping there are others that have WWI planes and are using them with the Rhino.
RAwesome. Was getting the Rhino to work with it hard or as seamless as with DCS? Its on sale right now in Steam.
WI’ve only flown DCS FFB, but I can’t imagine it’d be difficult to set up
WFlying Circus is no different than IL-2 GB, plenty of folks use the rhino there. I suspect you won’t have much if a problem.

- In the force trim settings for the respective device, enable the "use buttons from master" option and then bind your button(s).

HHi all, new to the VPForce Rhino, im about to get one my mate does not use any more, it was a pre built unit and he has had it 1 year with little use, im only getting the base unit and power supply.
Out of the box what Joysticks does VPForce support, Thrustmaster and Virpil of just Thrustmaster. ??
Also I have started reading the Discord sections and there seems to be a lot of tweaking and setup (maybe reading wrong here) I'm wanting to fly the Apache and KA50 II in DCS is it easy to get this working with the software and DCS or do I have to start reading all the sections on setting it up.
If you experienced guys were settings some one new up with minimal fuss what steps would you take when it was all hooked up ready to switch on.

CI'm trying to get the hang of air refueling in the F18/F14/F4 in DCS. Anybody got any Rhino or DCS settings that particularly help with smooth controls around center? I've got a Rhino, VKB MCG and 200mm extension
RHi all, on the list for a Rhino. I am looking at grips and leaning towards a Virpil Warbrd (nice and simple), will I also need to purchase the Virpil controller too?
BVirpil and thrustmaster grips runs directly, no adapter or anything like that needed.

IIRC it works really well out of the box but DCS is lacking some effects which telemffb adds, and that takes a little bit of tweaking
BI havent really tweaked much, just a basic calibration and range of motion check.
Simply put, scaling down axis range so I get full range output without having to remove body parts.
Pretty much only use dcs though so using the FFB settings there, telemffb just add some extras.
