laptop touchpad not working on HP Omen 16 Laptop

Heya, decided to install bazzite on my laptop as i'm really sick of windows, it's working like a charm so far but my built-in touchpad isn't working at all, not on the login menu or in wayland. I checked the settings and it said "No Touchpad Found". but i know it's working in the bios...is there anything i can do about this? thanks in advance, i'll provide more details if needed.
