the walking dead definitive edition: erroring when trying to launch game
When I try to boot up the walking dead definitive edition I am getting errors with and without gamescope which causes a white window. The relevant log file here: https://0x0.st/8o-T.log

how did you install umu? I'd suggest uninstalling it and let heroic download it for you, the errors are in umu's code
heroic already downloads the latest 1.1.4 release of umu

I installed it from the arch multilib repo

also it says
socket.gaierror: [Errno -3] Temporary failure in name resolution so it can be connectivity issue

maybe its a umu-database issue, because I just opened fallout 3 and it is working fine

the error isn't breaking.. it still launched the game properly
try installing vcrun2017 with winetricks

installed vcrun 2017 but still white screen
i used wine-ge and got the same white screen
