@Niklas Asahi is great in soo many things, but the only thing that keeps me from being my daily driver is lack of 120hz refresh rate, HDR and thunderbolt(need for USB C display port)
Back when apple silicon was not a thing i used to use aarch linux as my daily driver, got really excited for asahi but got too used to mac unfortunately.
ideally i think all the apple silicon work will be done in 1 repo or something that just creates artifacts that get pulled in by the respective projects build scripts (ex: bazzite. bluefin, aurora)
but i will leave that to the engineers to figure out
Very few don't but there are alternatives for it. This was what I was doing today btw lol. Either making sure they have support, else find alternatives.
yeah, we'd have to talk with @Kyle Gospo about how we would support steam. I know there is a translation layer being worked on for Linux to make that easier.
