Is there a way to make curbs easily ? I tried the border curve tool it doesn't work on my road mesh.

So i did a simple 4 points curve but I can't get the mesh right in the corners. I tried with "fit", "count", ""relative" ...

Good question!
For me Borders to Curves worked, but Path Scatter still gave me similar result sadly..

Some ideas:
1. You could try to make another Road tool and use the width settings to create the side meshes, like in my quick shitty video 1. Would have to do something similar for the short edges as well I guess
2. Using 4 separate curves and Path scatter should help with the corners I think

Otherwise I don't got much good ideas right now

Hey!
Try creating a new Level, then open Dash and make sure to update the files when the pop-up appears.
It will allow the files and shaders to be updated with the new proper connexions to the nodes.

After creating the level and updating dash you can go back to your previous level. and check if the issue is still there.

Just to clarify a little bit, please close Unreal, then open this project again, but open it into an empty level (don't open any level where you have used Dash). Then click Dash, that should give you this popup. Once you have updated the materials through this popup, you can open a level where you have used Dash.

Reason here is if you open an level with Dash things, the materials will load and then you can't update them

And make sure you have Dash 1.8.5: https://www.polygonflow.io/download-latest-dash

Can you try this idea instead?

Close UE, delete the polygonflow folder in this project, then launch UE (now it does not matter which level you open into) and then click Dash icon.

Hey guys, I installed Dash but then when clicking on the icon, nothing happens. I checked the output console and it says that there is some traceback error and about some .py files.

I checked if these files exists though and they do, so I am assuming that my default python version may be too outdated? If that's the case, which one is the one to use?

I can't share an honest timeframe on that task, but it is something we have started at least, so we are working to solve it as soon as possible.

Do you mean that when you drag and drop an asset from the Dash Content Browser it is placed on the landscape volume instead of the underlying terrain? That is something that is solved already and will be coming in the next hotfix at least! For now, if you could temporarily hide that volume when placing, that would be my best idea right now I think

If I remember correctly, you can't change the focus settings from within the normal UE settings on a Dash camera.

That along with focus improvements are some things that really are needed to be looked into on the Dash camera

Hey @Dafar

My guess here would be that either the physics settings on this mesh make it behave like that, or you need to change the Orientation Mode in the Physics Paint settings, it may be set to Locked, but you might get better results if it is Randomized.
