HUMANKIND crash to desktop on launch, tried various Wine-GE/Proton versions

I'm trying to launch the EGS version of Humankind on a Steam Deck running Bazzite using the flatpak version of Heroic and it always crashes after launch.

Sorry for the terseness. Had to type that on the Deck itself so I could paste the log link and that was the definition of pain. Anyway, yeah, no matter if I try Wine-GE-Latest, go back all the way to 8.0 or in between, or try various versions of Proton, either GE or Experimental or base 9.0, it just crashes immediately on launch. The game is listed as Gold compatibility
