Hello folks, Im using the stream API to upload videos, we are currently in testing phase, so I usually delete all videos using the SDK before uploading a bunch of videos.

However, after several 30-37 seconds videos (15-16MB) uploaded, I get the following:

when I go to stream dashboard page, I can see:
Storage Capacity
You have 27 videos in your Stream library.
You have 15 minutes of video content in your Stream library.
Your storage capacity is 1,000 minutes (98% remaining).

Im wondering, is there a mismatch between the API and the dashboard? and what happens to deleted videos? do you actually delete them or they are just hidden?

24/7 Stream + WordPress Optimization (Design)

We using ffmpeg for a Radio Studio Live Stream. It shows all the time that the stream just runs arround 30minutes. How we can change that. It would be a 24/7 Stream, so we also dont need a recording of that stream. Also whats the best way to change the design of the Cloudflare Player. We dont need “Live Count” or the timeline for skipping back and forward.

I would say its more likely to be on the ffmpeg side than anything. Try it out from a regular streaming client and see how you go. I personally have done dozens of streams being 3+ hours long, with the longest going for like 10 hours with no problem

For a 24/7 stream, I would set up a cron function that restarts the stream once a day. Using the webhooks for Stream when a stream starts/stops, invoke a Worker to delete the video

Per stream, the recommendation is to use the video ID which is generated once the stream goes live

How can one know that stream ended on the API, tather than deleting, I wanted to auto play, what was streamed (recoreded), without maunally getting HLS from streamed videos section ?

With this new DVR feature, if you use the embed code/manifest from the video generated by the stream, instead of the live input itself, the manifest will automatically transition to a vod automatically upon completion

I am having issues with TUS uploads. In go i initiate the TUS video upload to get the url . i set the headers as in the docs and send it to the front end which is using uppy / TUS.

But i am getting the error:

It looks like the request PATCH method request headers is showing Content-Length: 3473234 which is the size of my file and the content length i set when i retrieved the url from cloudflare.

Surely TUS is handling this and correctly and if the file size is not divisible by 256 it pads it or something?

The video is 3.4mb in size. Does TUS only work on larger files?...

** FYI i just uploaded a 300mb video with the same chunk size and it worked fine. It looks like only videos smaller than 5mb (the min chunk size) fail to upload.
Can anyone confirm if a file must be larger than the minimum chunk size AND a file must be larger than the set chunk size, so that there are atleast more than one chunk.

And if you read the rest of that page, you'd know the minimum chunk size is 5MB, so just do a simple check where if file size is below a certain amount just defer to the API upload or something

I work with captive portal, and I implemented Cloudflare Stream to make Walled Garden releases a little easier by having a single domain to play the video.

One thing I noticed is that the IP resolution for this domain always returns 4 IPV4 IPs and 4 IPV6 IPs, and always the same.

I am aware that Cloudflare has thousands of IP's, but taking into account that I only operate in one country, can I assume that the resolution will always be on the same IP's or will there be a rotation?

I ask because releasing IPs in the Walled garden would help me avoid problems with access points that don't translate Domains in an intelligent way.

They wouldnt have been deleted because the bill wasnt paid. You will need to restore them from a backup that you have

There is a webhook that is sent when streams finish, otherwise in the specific case of the DVR feature, a user would have to reload their frontend

I was playing around with the DVR, with an hls link which was streaming past 7 hours, but when I add the dvrEnabled=true it doesnt work why? I enabled the recording and the videos are there.

Another issue, when the stream loses connectivity , the recoreded videos is stopped and a new one is created does the DVR combine them by default if it works?

You need to read the docs on the DVR feature (below isn't directly copied from docs, but the page does explain things)

Manifests are limited to 7200 segments, so depending on your keyframe interval you will probably hit that limit after a number of hours
The DVR won't combine the different streams together. There is a small timeout period where the stream will wait for a reconnection before splitting into a new stream

Hey, I'm trying to test the WebRTC live-streaming feature and seeing some issues.
I managed to get a WHIP live input working (see attached image). I'm also aware of the beta limitations (https://developers.cloudflare.com/stream/webrtc-beta/#limitations-while-in-beta), and to my understanding I should be able to consume this stream using WHEP. However, with every player I've tried so far the stream failed to load.

Additional context that might be relevant -
For this test I'm using an RTSP test stream with H.264 encoding (on MediaMTX) and publishing to cloudflare using a gstreamer pipeline with "whipsink" (which is listed as gst-plugins-rs here - https://developers.cloudflare.com/stream/webrtc-beta/#whip).

Did anyone manage to get this feature to work?
I'm currently subscribed to the live-streaming service based solely on this use-case - I'd really appreciate your help getting it to work (or at least some pointers on how to debug this further). :MeowHeartCloudflare:

To me it looks like the issue might be on the MediaMTX side. CF is only receiving 200kbps which is obviously incorrect which means something about your pipeline is not working
