Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Offline
Hello,
I know THPS1+2 got an update on steam to be playable offline on the steam deck. I also know some launch commands were used to get the offline mode to work on windows/linux for non-steam deck.
I own the EGS version of the game and have it running, just wanted to see if anyone has been able to get it to work in offline mode on the steamdeck.

try adding
SteamDeck=1 into the environment variables

I tried that one in the heroic launcher options and unfortunately it didn't work

according to pcgamingwiki the env var is all lowercase https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Tony_Hawk%27s_Pro_Skater_1_%2B_2#Linux
try setting

I've seen it expressed as SteamDeck, steamdeck or STEAMDECK in various places. I wonder if in the end it's case insensitive because of Wine. Not sure though. I have never really tested it much

gonna try all 3 variations now. I guess sort of dumb question, should I put the steamdeck=1 in Game Arguments or Environment Variables
tried in both places. no luck unfortunately. It didn't even let me set STEAMDECK=1 in game arguments, that once went to environement variables.
I'm guessing the game was only updated for the steam version, EGS might not work offline
