use heroic's wine manager to install latest proton ge
then set the game to use it.. then try again
afaik this game works out of the box

also stick to proton-ge, but now that you tried wine-ge you will have to delete the wine prefix folder for the game on your hard disk and start over
but for whatever reason it looks like its not using your GPU driver
can you run nvidia-smi in commandline
