authorization supplicant timed out

The past couple of days since i installed bazzite ive been having wifi issues, getting the error "authorization supplicant timed out" i cant seem to find any fixes online and none of my prior knowledge on other distros is helping either, does anyone have a fix?

id post logs but i genuinely cant figure out what bazzite is using to do wifi
im on kde plasma if that helps

Going to need some more information to assist you. I have a few questions:

* Which bazzite image are you on? bazzite-deck? bazzite?
* Are you dual-booting with Windows? If so did you try restart Windows rather than shutdown Windows (if you shutdown Windows it semi-hibernates rather than shutting down completely)
* What hardware are you using?

I am having this same issue. I'm trying to set up a wifi hotspot, but keep getting "authorization supplicant timed out" error.

My desktop is connected to ethernet and I have a wifi card that is going unused, so thought I'd use it as a hotspot for some of my devices since my home network does not have wifi.

My system specs:
