how to recover game save files from old Wine-Ge to new Ge-Proton prefix
Couple of days ago i realized that Winge-Ge was no longer receiving updates and it was deprecated (yeah, i notice it very late). So i was trying to run Cyberpunk 2077 with my new Proton-Ge prefix, but the game save files are not found and I have to start playing from 0. In some old post here @CommandMC stated that was not necessary to copy/paste this config and save files from one prefix to the other, but my game settings and save progression is not found. When running the game it appears as if it was the first time I played the game, from 0 (no customized settings and anything). Im trying to find this files to copy/paste them but i cant even find the right prefix path to achieve this. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks!

follow that through but keep in mind that the user name under Wine is your linux user name while under Proton, it is steamuser
if you saw the deprecated notice, step 4 indicates that you should rename your prefix folder in your drive to be
_bak

No, the prefix is created at that first folder regardless if you're using Wine or Proton
this is the prefix folder for a Steam-owned game

yeah looks right. One thing to note is to disable cloud syncing while you're still doing maintenance
