Unable to read tmc uart 'dual_carriage' register IFCNT

Ive tripple checked wiring, pins, and the uart jumpers, ive reinstalled software, ive put a new Octo board in, new drivers(2209), anytime i try "SET_CENTER_KINEMATIC_POSITION" and move the dual carriage, i get the error everytime, i move bed up and down no issues, but as soon as i touch the heads, it faults and reboots.
